Pauline Wardrupe McIntosh

ERWIN – Pauline Wardrupe McIntosh, age 99, of Erwin, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Christian Care Center of Unicoi County. She was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Joe and Minnie Tinker Wardrupe. Mrs. McIntosh was a seamstress for Industrial Garments for many years. In addition to her parents Pauline is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence “Ralph” McIntosh, sisters Gladys Runion, Eva Bowman, Viola Wardrupe, Irene Howell, Dolly Allen, and Betty Runion, one brother Howard Wardrupe, and longtime special friend, William Seay. Pauline Wardrupe McIntosh has left to cherish her memories, Brother: Edward Wardrupe; Sisters: Georgia Arrowood, Revonda Engle; Brothers-in-law: Carroll Runion, Ike Engle; Several Nieces and Nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Evergreen Cemetery with Bishop John Edwards officiating. Those who wish to attend will meet at Evergreen Cemetery by 1:50 PM. Pauline Wardrupe McIntosh will lay in state on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM at Valley Funeral Home.
