Matthew Ferguson

Matthew Ferguson, 35, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020. Native to Washington County, Matthew was born on April 24, 1985, to Mark and Sharon Ferguson. Matthew was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. His favorite pastime was shooting pool and spending time with his family, especially his two sons. Survivors include his wife, Tabitha Russell Ferguson, sons, Tyler Ferguson and Cameron Whitaker, sister, Amber Cook (James), nieces, Kayleigh and Ashleigh Cook, nephews, Nathan and Jefferson Cook, grandmothers, Barbara Ivey and Mary Davidson, and close friend, Mark Phillips (Carly). He is preceded in death by grandfathers, Homer Ferguson, Frank Ivey and Curtis Green. A visitation for Matthew will be held at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home on Sunday, June 28, 2020, from 5 to 8 pm. The graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery on Monday, June 28, 2020, at 11 am.
