Essie B. Lewis

 ELIZABETHTON – Essie B. Lewis, 77, of Elizabethton, entered into the presence of our Lord on April 24, 2020 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Essie was born on May 04, 1942 to the late Joe and Grace Buckles. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Roger Dean Lewis, one daughter, Robin Sommers and husband Paul, two grandsons, Travis Dean Sommers and Jermey Douglas Sommers and wife, Christian. Also, surviving are four sisters and two brothers: Lula Garland, Judy Grindstaff, Ruth Pierce, Pauline Durham, Hunter Buckles and Wade Buckles. A private graveside service will take place at Wilson Cemetery on April 27, 2020. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wilson Cemetery Association at 115 Wilshire Dr. Elizabethton, TN 37643. Special Thanks to the nurses and staff at Sycamore Shoals . They are surely doing God’s work. Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Lewis.
