The hotlight won’t light up again at Midtown’s Krispy Kreme location. The North Carolina-based company lists the location at 2103 Elliston Place as “permanently closed,” according to its website. It’s unclear why the location closed. The company did not immediately respond to request for comment Friday afternoon.
