    Schedule your child’s vaccine

Vaccines will be given in the theater at the Children’s Hospital, 2200 Children’s Way in Nashville. The closest parking is in the South Garage.

    What else parents should know

    • We’ll give the vaccine made by Pfizer. For this age group, the Pfizer vaccine requires 3 doses.
    • The first 2 doses are given 3 weeks apart. The third dose is given at least 8 weeks after the second dose.
    • You’ll make appointments for the second and third doses when your child gets the first.
    • If your child will turn 5 years old before getting all 3 shots, you may wish to wait till your child turns 5 and get the 2-dose series designed for ages 5 to 11 years old.
    • We’ll bill your insurance plan a charge to help cover the costs of giving the vaccine. We will not send you a bill for the vaccine.
