After ‘no’ last year, Metro again pursues $5 million federal grant for East Bank planning

Metro sought the same $ 5 million grant last year but did not receive it. Metro’s application this year notes that its pitch advanced to the final round of selection and was graded “highly recommended” by the federal government — and says U.S. Department of Transportation officials encouraged Nashville to reapply.
